Hennessy — Cognac: HSE Apprentice (2‑year alternance) on production sites. On‑site industrial HSE role with mentorship and multi‑site projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Undertake full-time, on-site HSE activities across four production sites, including bottling and logistics areas.
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of a robust safety culture by creating and delivering awareness content and onboarding sessions for temporary staff and trainees.
  • Identify, report and follow up on hazardous situations; participate in internal audits and support the definition, implementation and tracking of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage a defined production perimeter (e.g., a production line) by assessing risks, proposing improvements and following project implementation.
  • Support and progressively lead HSE projects — starting with small-scale initiatives and expanding to cross-site projects (e.g., risk management, line audits, ergonomics, degraded modes, performance indicators).
  • Collect, analyse and report HSE performance data; assist in optimising tools for monitoring HSE indicators.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams and HSE animators; work under the guidance of an experienced tutor to develop technical and project-management competencies.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a higher-education program (Master level preferred) in QHSE / HSE or equivalent.
  • Valid Category B driving licence (required for inter-site travel).
  • Proven autonomy, rigor and proactivity with an aptitude for teamwork.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; pedagogical approach to deliver training and awareness sessions.
  • Proficiency with Pack Office (Microsoft Office suite).

Experience
