Hennessy in Cognac seeks an HSE Apprentice (Production) for a 2‑year alternance on-site across production sites; Master's-level students encouraged to apply.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support on-site HSE activities across multiple production sites, including bottling and logistics operations.
- Contribute to the development and promotion of a robust safety culture by producing awareness content and facilitating HSE communications.
- Identify hazards, report unsafe situations and participate in internal audits to maintain regulatory and corporate HSE standards.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions, monitor implementation and follow up on site-level improvement plans.
- Deliver HSE induction and awareness sessions for new temporary workers and interns.
- Take charge of the HSE follow-up for a defined production perimeter (e.g., a production line) and propose risk mitigation measures.
- Participate in defined HSE projects and workstreams as part of the two‑year apprenticeship programme.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s-level programme in QHSE, HSE, Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a pedagogical approach for delivering inductions and training.
- Autonomous, rigorous and proactive with the ability to work collaboratively in operational teams.
- Driving licence (Permis B) for inter-site travel.

Entry-level / beginner: targets students in an alternance/apprenticeship programme. No prior professional HSE experience required; on-the-job tutoring and progressive responsibilities will be provided.
Education
Enrolled in a Master's programme in QHSE, HSE, environmental management, or equivalent.
