Hennessy — Cognac: HSE Apprentice (Health, Safety & Environment), 2-year on-site apprenticeship supporting production safety across multiple sites.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work on the production floor across multiple sites to ensure the safety and environmental protection of operations and personnel.
  • Promote and animate a strong safety culture across four production sites, including bottling and logistics activities.
  • Develop and deliver HSE awareness and training materials; participate in onboarding sessions for temporary staff and interns.
  • Identify, report and follow up on hazardous situations; contribute to incident investigation and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support and participate in internal HSE audits and the monitoring of audit findings until closure.
  • Pilot and contribute to HSE projects (initially small-scale, then multi-site/transversal) such as ergonomics improvements, degraded modes management, risk management and KPI optimisation.
  • Take ownership of a defined production perimeter for risk identification and continuous improvement actions over a given period.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or preparing a Master's-level program in QHSE / HSE or an equivalent higher-education qualification.
  • Proficiency with Pack Office (Microsoft Office suite).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a pedagogical approach to training.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, proactive and able to work collaboratively within operational teams.
  • Driving licence (Permis B) required for inter-site travel.
