Hennessy Heritage and Archives Intern in Cognac, France—support archival cataloguing and cultural collections for the iconic LVMH spirits maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Index historical and contemporary images of the maison into the media library management system
- Assist in sorting and organizing digital archival collections
- Participate in sorting and cataloguing historic archival holdings with proper handling of delicate period documents
- Conduct iconographic research to support heritage initiatives
- Perform ancillary tasks related to the management and preservation of patrimonial collections, including both historical and contemporary archives as well as heritage objects
Qualifications
- Degree at Licence or Master level in cultural heritage, archival management, documentary studies, or related discipline
- Proficiency in standard office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with digital asset management and documentation management systems
- Strong command of written English
- Knowledge of late 19th and 20th century history
- Demonstrated attention to detail and archival discipline

Experience
Entry-level or beginner experience in archival work, collections management, or heritage documentation. Prior internships or academic projects involving archival research and historical material handling are advantageous but not essential.
Education
