Hennessy in Cognac, France seeks an HSE Apprentice for a 2-year on-site production apprenticeship across four sites (bottling & logistics).
Role & Responsibilities
- Support on-site HSE activities across four production sites, including bottling and logistics operations, through daily fieldwork and close collaboration with operational teams.
- Promote a strong safety culture by creating and animating awareness content, delivering onboarding sessions for temporary workers and interns, and participating in training initiatives.
- Identify and report hazardous situations, participate in incident investigations, and assist in drafting corrective and preventive action plans.
- Contribute to and perform internal HSE audits and follow up on non-conformities until closure.
- Take ownership of a defined production perimeter (e.g., a production line) to monitor risks and propose targeted improvements.
- Support HSE project work as defined during the apprenticeship, contributing to implementation and monitoring of HSE initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a higher-education programme (Master level) in QHSE / HSE or equivalent.
- Proven command of office tools (Pack Office).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with pedagogical aptitude for delivering awareness sessions.
- Autonomous, rigorous, proactive and able to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Valid Driving licence (Permis B) for inter-site travel.

Experience
Beginner level: candidate is expected to be a Master-level student in QHSE/HSE with limited professional experience. Previous internships in industrial HSE are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in QHSE / HSE or equivalent
