Hennessy seeks a 2-year HSE Apprentice in Cognac, France. Support safety and environmental initiatives across production sites.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operational teams on-site to ensure worker safety and environmental protection across production facilities
- Develop and deliver HSE awareness and training sessions for new temporary workers and interns
- Identify, document, and report hazardous situations and near-misses using established procedures
- Conduct and support internal HSE audits across assigned production areas
- Drive and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve identified risks
- Take ownership of HSE monitoring for an assigned production area (e.g., production line) and propose continuous improvement initiatives
- Create awareness-raising and sensitization materials and content to promote safe working practices
- Execute specific HSE projects to be defined during the apprenticeship programme
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or pursuing a Master's degree in QHSE or HSE
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Autonomous, rigorous, and proactive work approach
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal and pedagogical skills
- Valid Category B driving licence for inter-site travel
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; candidates with beginner-level experience in health, safety, or environmental roles are welcome. Practical on-site experience across multiple production areas will be provided through mentorship.
Education
Currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) or Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
