The Financial Planning and Analysis Intern joins Hennessy’s finance team in Cognac to prepare financial reports, support budgeting and forecasting, analyse market performance and improve financial processes. This is a full-time internship, with a schedule of 4.5 days per week and Friday afternoons off.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, relevant monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and actively contribute to budget planning and financial forecasting.
• Conduct ad hoc financial and economic analyses in preparation for internal committees.
• Monitor market performance and contribute to forecast scenario development.
• Work closely with regional finance teams to gain a thorough understanding of local issues.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for existing financial processes, including AI, reporting automation, new analysis and visualisation tools, and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing higher education in finance, management control or an equivalent field at a university or business school.
• Proficiency in office software, particularly Excel, including financial modelling and pivot tables.
• Knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot is an advantage.
• Rigour, analytical thinking, communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Interest in challenges and motivation to contribute in a stimulating environment.
