Hennessy in Cognac seeks an Editorial and Events Communication Assistant (apprenticeship) — content production and event support role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the editorial calendar across web, newsletter and social channels to align partner viticulturists’ content with the Maison’s communication strategy.
- Support the production of video and photo shoots: organise filming days, draft storyboards and scripts, prepare interview questions, assist on set and manage rushes and post‑production follow-up.
- Capture and edit video content and prepare graphic and textual assets for digital and print media.
- Gather and prepare content from internal and external stakeholders according to the editorial schedule.
- Analyse performance of editorial content and contribute recommendations to optimise reach and engagement.
- Support the preparation, logistical execution and on‑site running of events: participant reception, visitor flow management, badge and document distribution.
- Create and produce event‑related communication materials and assist with post‑event feedback collection and results analysis.
- Contribute to the preparation of event debriefs and consolidated reporting.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a communications, marketing, journalism, audiovisual production or equivalent programme (apprenticeship/alternance compatible).
- Prior internship or coursework in communications is desirable.
- Fluent written and spoken French with strong editorial abilities.
- Proven organisational skills, creativity and ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
- Interest or familiarity with viticulture, wines and spirits is an advantage.

Entry-level / beginner: suitable for candidates with limited professional experience; prior internships or practical coursework in communications, content production or event assistance are an asset.
Education
Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree in communications, marketing, journalism, audiovisual production or a related field; apprenticeship/alternance students encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be located in Cognac, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, with easy access to Bordeaux.
