About Helena Rubinstein

Helena Rubinstein built her skincare business in Melbourne in 1902 around a cream called Valaze. Today the house develops facial treatments and skincare ranges including Replasty.

Helena Rubinstein seeks a Junior Product Manager to steer country category strategy, the three-year marketing plan, portfolio, launches and consumer insights, while managing the category budget and sales forecast. The role also drives integrated marketing execution, cross-functional collaboration, team development and—within selective divisions—brand identity and retail strategy. Fixed-term contract.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and steer the country category strategy in line with international brand positioning and local priorities, supporting brand growth and consumer relationships.
  • Set strategic direction and develop the category’s three-year marketing plan; manage the portfolio, including new launches, pillar-product renewals and core-catalogue activation.
  • Manage the collection and analysis of category consumer and market insights, and share findings with the zone to align new product development with local needs.
  • Implement launches and marketing-mix strategies across IMC, 360, digital and retail; develop locally relevant approaches that create integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, education and other departments, as well as partner agencies, to shape broader business strategy.
  • Oversee local adaptation of communication materials across imagery, digital and point of sale; advise management on the category using expertise in consumers, markets and competitors.
  • Manage the category’s PPP budget and sales forecast.
  • Prepare clear, effective messages for senior management.
  • Build, develop and manage a talented team; train team members and strengthen their marketing expertise and know-how.
  • For selective divisions, steward brand heritage and identity, ensuring actions align with the brand’s purpose and contribute to its development.
  • For selective divisions, oversee retail strategy in close partnership with retail and education teams, and monitor implementation of retail materials, services and advice.
