Helena Rubinstein is seeking a Counter Manager in Ürümqi to lead counter sales, service, client relationships, operations and inventory, while managing, coaching and developing the team. The role is full-time and includes responsibility for sales planning, performance, staffing, compliance and brand standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the team to achieve sales targets; manage, allocate and track performance indicators.
- Improve counter service standards, deliver an exceptional consumer experience and strengthen consumer relationships.
- Manage counter consumer relationships and develop plans to retain existing clients and acquire new ones.
- Maintain strong working relationships with department stores and shopping centres, support their initiatives and strengthen the brand’s reputation in the trade area.
- Monitor market trends and competitors, identify the counter’s strengths and develop sales opportunities.
- Ensure the counter and team members comply with company policies and uphold the brand image.
- Use and maintain beauty retail systems, beauty equipment and digital tools used at the counter.
- Manage counter products and inventory, ensuring stock counts and inventory records are accurate.
- Monitor team performance, identify performance gaps, support training, recommend solutions and coach team members.
- Manage, motivate and develop team members.
- Ensure staffing meets the counter’s business needs and allocate shifts and duties appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with the team, relay information in both directions, build team loyalty, encourage openness and collaboration, and sustain high morale.
- Apply brand and product knowledge and uphold brand culture and values.
- Keep abreast of the beauty market and consumer trends, company and brand policies and procedures, digital tools, and BA team management processes and guidelines, including the employee handbook.
- Plan and execute counter business plans and manage counter sales performance.
- Demonstrate customer centricity, retail operations capability, team coaching and performance management, teamwork facilitation, and communication and collaboration.
