Harrods seeks temporary Warehouse Operatives at Thatcham Distribution Centre for Christmas peak season. Two-month contract with multiple department roles available.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, check, sort, and relocate stock using manual and mechanical handling methods
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately whilst operating warehouse equipment safely
- Perform stock checks and maintain organised, clean, and safe working environments
- Support recycling programmes through sorting and processing waste
- Handle pallets including unloading, stacking, repairing, and loading onto trailers
- Maintain warehouse and yard cleanliness using appropriate equipment
Qualifications
- Aged 18 or over (required due to material handling equipment operation)
- Strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail
- Confidence in performing manual handling tasks safely
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn new skills
