Harrods seeks an experienced waiter to deliver exceptional service across its fine dining restaurants, executing flawless table management, food and beverage service, and guest interaction in a luxury hospitality environment. The role requires expertise in menu knowledge, allergen awareness, cash handling, and the ability to anticipate guest needs whilst maintaining the highest standards of service excellence across all service periods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders in a professional manner, identifying opportunities to maximize sales discreetly and appropriately
- Execute all mise-en-place duties prior to and after service to required standards
- Follow cash handling procedures and ensure accurate guest billing
- Set up and clear tables prior to, during and after service, maintaining the highest standards
- Ensure personal station and restaurant operations run smoothly whilst upholding Harrods' high service standards and productivity
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant menu, allergens, and promotional offerings to answer guest queries knowledgeably and discreetly
- Engage professionally with guests and build rapport to ensure smooth and elegant service experiences
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail through floor mise-en-place, checklists, and stock level management
