Harrods seeks a Senior Workday Analyst to lead the design and optimisation of Workday solutions across defined functional domains, ensuring the platform delivers reliable, scalable outcomes aligned with organisational priorities. Reporting to a Principal Workday Lead, the role combines deep technical expertise with strategic stakeholder engagement, mentoring junior analysts and driving continuous improvement across HR Operations and HRIS functions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and configure Business Processes, security modules, eligibility logic, and calculation fields within Workday
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to Workday Analysts, reviewing configuration outputs, design solutions, and case responses
- Lead end-to-end functional design for assigned Workday modules, ensuring solutions align with platform standards and governance frameworks
- Contribute to the development of platform standards, design principles, and best-practice guidance
- Support Workday releases and manage functional risk and regression testing
- Translate organisational priorities and senior stakeholder requirements into effective technical solutions
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday across multiple implementation cycles
- Deep expertise in one or more functional module (e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Management)
- Demonstrated experience leading complex Workday solution design and functional architecture
- Strong understanding of Business Processes, security architecture, and cross-functional dependencies
- Ability to challenge requirements constructively and propose best-practice solutions
- Experience supporting Workday releases and managing functional risk and regression testing

Proven track record of leading complex Workday functional design projects rather than purely executing configuration. Experience supporting multiple Workday releases, managing technical risk, and mentoring junior analysts.
