Harrods is recruiting a Quality Assurance Operative to support food safety, quality and compliance in its production kitchens in Knightsbridge. The role covers food safety inspections, routine assurance checks, labelling, complaint investigations and equipment calibration. It is a permanent, full-time, onsite position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate the label room, issuing and checking retail and food-to-order labels.
- Carry out food safety inspections, including checks of due diligence paperwork, labelling, traceability and raw material stocks.
- Complete routine assurance checks, including temperature monitoring and tray-wash chemical concentration testing.
- Support customer complaint investigations by providing accurate quality and safety information.
- Manage calibrations for temperature probes and weighing scales.
Qualifications
- Previous food safety experience at QA or QC level within food manufacturing or food service.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a changing operational environment.
