Harrods Interior Design Studio seeks a Midweight Interior Designer in London to deliver luxury residential interiors up to £1m in value.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed design intent documentation including elevations, schedules (FF&E, finishes, ironmongery, joinery), and project specifications
- Conduct full site measurements and liaise with sub-contractors throughout project delivery
- Produce comprehensive drawing packages and specifications using design software in alignment with client briefs and Senior Designer guidelines
- Collaborate with Project Management and Procurement teams to monitor timelines and ensure accurate product specifications
- Undertake site visits, supplier inspections, warehouse visits, and prepare snagging reports
- Develop stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly with the project team and clients
- Support the delivery of small to medium-sized luxury residential projects under Senior Designer supervision
Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or equivalent professional work experience
- Proven experience in luxury residential interior design, ideally within the UK market
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
- Experience utilising AI tools to create and refine visual presentations
- Portfolio demonstrating luxury residential design work

Proven experience in luxury residential interior design or architecture, with demonstrated expertise in UK high-end residential projects. The candidate should possess a track record of managing small to medium-sized projects, producing technical documentation, and collaborating effectively within design-led teams.
Education
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent professional qualification; or equivalent demonstrable experience in a luxury residential design practice.
