Harrods seeks an Enterprise Services Administrator to manage physical, virtual, and cloud platforms and lead IT infrastructure strategy and technical direction through a multi-year transformation programme. The permanent, full-time role requires expertise across Windows Server, Linux, Azure, VMware Cloud Foundation, security, automation, and disaster recovery.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage physical, virtual, and cloud platforms across Harrods end to end.
  • Lead delivery and evolution of the IT infrastructure strategy, translating strategic objectives into roadmaps, principles, and governance frameworks.
  • Work with Architecture and Information Security teams to keep infrastructure and cloud platforms secure, scalable, and agile.
  • Shape, deliver, and support core technology platforms as part of a multi-year infrastructure transformation programme.
  • Build partnerships across Infrastructure and Application teams, assess current capabilities, and define a clear path forward.
  • Provide technical leadership across Windows, virtualised, physical, and cloud infrastructure environments.

Qualifications

  • Expertise across Windows Server, Linux, Azure, VMware Cloud Foundation, and backup and disaster recovery technologies, supported by relevant certifications or significant hands-on experience.
  • Deep technical knowledge of infrastructure automation and orchestration, Microsoft technologies, Red Hat Linux, Kubernetes, VMware, enterprise networking, security, authentication, and cloud platforms.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and cloud authentication.
  • Ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and drive technical direction across diverse teams.
