Harrods is recruiting a Demi Chef de Partie for its dining team at its Knightsbridge store. The permanent, full-time role supports a kitchen section, team operations, stock planning and food safety. Pay is up to £16 per hour, including base salary and service charge; additional hours are paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
Role & Responsibilities
- Keep a kitchen section running smoothly and support the Chef de Partie and other team members.
- Provide direction and support to the team in meeting day-to-day operational requirements.
- Assist management with stock and order planning and forecasting.
- Organise, rotate and label stored food.
- Ensure food safety standards are followed and maintain high hygiene and sanitation standards across food-related outlets.
Qualifications
- Strong professional-kitchen experience, including managing an independent section, ideally in a prestigious five-star hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
- Strong time-management skills and a customer-focused approach when dealing with internal and external parties.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail, demonstrated in completed paperwork, department organisation and maintaining sufficient stock levels.
- Good PC literacy.

Compensation
