Harrods seeks an experienced Cleaning Team Leader for its iconic Knightsbridge store, leading a team and maintaining luxury retail standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop a dedicated cleaning team within a luxury retail environment
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards across the store
- Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations and proper use of equipment and chemicals
- Motivate and manage team performance to deliver safe, welcoming, and immaculate environments for customers and colleagues
- Work independently to resolve operational issues and implement improvements
- Manage shift scheduling and team coordination across a 5-days-over-7 rotating pattern
- Conduct staff training on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and best practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising or leading a cleaning team
- Knowledge of cleaning practices, health and safety requirements, and safe use of equipment and chemicals
- Strong people leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve issues
- Flexibility to work the required shift pattern including alternate weekends

Previous experience as a cleaning supervisor or team leader, ideally in a retail, hospitality, facilities management, or commercial environment.
