Harrods seeks exceptional retail leaders to join its H beauty Assistant Manager Talent Community, a forward-looking initiative for emerging talent interested in management opportunities across nationwide H beauty locations. This role offers the prospect of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, luxury beauty environments, driving operational excellence, customer experience, and commercial growth across multiple UK sites including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Chester, Milton Keynes, Gateshead, and Lakeside.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead with presence and set the tone for elevated service standards, pace, and professionalism across the shop floor
- Coach and develop teams to consistently deliver exceptional customer journeys and maintain high performance standards
- Utilise data and commercial insights to understand business performance and make decisive, informed decisions
- Champion operational excellence through visual merchandising, stock management, and adherence to Harrods' service fundamentals
- Collaborate effectively with Sales Managers and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and shape the evolution of H beauty
- Build strong internal partnerships and create an environment where colleagues and customers feel valued, confident, and inspired
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in fast-paced retail or beauty environments
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
- Strong commercial acumen with proficiency in interpreting retail data and KPIs
- Exceptional customer service orientation and understanding of luxury retail standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
Experience
Substantial experience in retail management, preferably in beauty, luxury retail, or a similarly fast-paced commercial environment. Demonstrated track record of leading teams and driving operational and commercial performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail or business-related qualification preferred but not essential.
