Role & Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards across retail and wholesale store locations, ensuring full compliance with company guidelines and Hamilton brand standards
  • Conduct regular in-store evaluations to assess visual execution, providing real-time adjustments and recommendations to store teams
  • Develop and execute floor sets, window displays, seasonal transitions, and promotional setups in collaboration with retail management and regional leadership
  • Prepare, distribute, and coordinate internal and vendor distribution of visual communication materials in strict accordance with brand guidelines
  • Facilitate comprehensive training sessions for store managers and associates on visual merchandising standards, product placement, premium watch positioning, and customer experience best practices
  • Provide ongoing coaching and skill-gap assessment to store teams, recommending development initiatives to strengthen visual and sales capabilities
  • Manage relationships with vendors by placing and tracking orders for visual materials and ensuring timely centralized distribution to trade locations
  • Create and maintain photographic documentation of boutique conditions before and after visits, producing detailed recap reports with improvement recommendations
  • Identify visual merchandising opportunities and potential store renovation needs in collaboration with the Visual Manager and SIS Project Manager
  • Lead setup and decoration of brand-sponsored events (single and multi-brand) to maximize visual impact and brand presence
  • Monitor regional business trends and competitive activities, leveraging insights to identify sales growth opportunities and market positioning improvements
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • 2–3 years of retail visual merchandising experience, preferably in specialty goods, jewelry, or watches
  • Proven ability to coach and train diverse teams in fast-paced retail environments
  • Strong eye for design, layout, and brand storytelling through product presentation
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record (travel-intensive position)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with confident presentation abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
