Hamilton is recruiting a Case Finisher in Biel, Switzerland to assemble and finish precision watch cases.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble and finish watch cases according to technical specifications and quality standards
- Perform precise machining, polishing, and surface treatment operations on watch case components
- Inspect finished cases for dimensional accuracy and aesthetic quality before proceeding to subsequent production stages
- Maintain and organize workstations to ensure efficient workflow and workplace safety
- Collaborate with quality control and production teams to address technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes
- Document production activities and maintain detailed records of completed work
Qualifications
- Proven experience in watch manufacturing or precision metal working
- Strong understanding of watch case construction and finishing techniques
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and quality control instruments
- Demonstrated ability to work to tolerances within microns
- Familiarity with technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
Skills
Experience
Experience in watch manufacturing, precision metal working, or related artisanal manufacturing disciplines is required. Candidates should demonstrate a minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience with case assembly, finishing, or similar precision production work.
Education
Vocational training or apprenticeship in watchmaking, precision engineering, metalworking, or a related field is preferred. Technical certification in horology or manufacturing processes is advantageous.
