Guerlain internship: Visual Merchandising Intern in Singapore. Aug-Dec 2026, full-time hybrid role supporting regional VM strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Visual Merchandising Manager on daily administrative tasks and project coordination
- Assist in developing key product launch concepts and researching materials for APAC display designs
- Collaborate with Retail Design, Brand Marketing teams, Design Agencies, contractors, and vendors to enhance point-of-sale retail excellence
- Create and track purchase orders while ensuring timely delivery of regional production materials
- Coordinate with vendors on material samples and oversee the picking, packing, and shipment of samples throughout the region
- Liaise with headquarters regarding material specifications and finishing samples from France for regional production
- Maintain central guidelines and technical details weekly, ensuring regional market folders remain current with latest information
- Support technical adaptation of central visual merchandising guidelines across fragrance, makeup, and skincare categories
- Maintain Soft Merchandising 3D assets based on campaign cadence in the region
- Support design of regional product POSM (point-of-sale materials) based on monthly product launches using SketchUp and design software
- Provide artwork updates and campaign-based changes using Adobe Illustrator or InDesign
- Deliver design support for special promotion platforms or small podiums using SketchUp
- Participate in trade plan brainstorming sessions for retailtainment activities with marketing and commercial teams
- Organize internal competitor pop-up visits in Singapore
- Support post-campaign processes for photo and video execution
- Assist the Visual Merchandising Manager in briefing and managing regional productions
- Manage POSM shipment, cost tracking, and purchase order creation
- Coordinate timely delivery of regionally produced merchandising materials
- Work with vendors and contractors on brand POSM guidelines affecting dimensions, cropping, and production review
- Prepare monthly merchandising meeting agendas for regional distribution
- Follow up on meeting minutes during monthly merchandising meetings
- Launch merchandising surveys across regions
- Track status and organize inventory counts of office point-of-sale and display configurations
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in the beauty industry
- High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office PowerPoint, and basic proficiency in MS Office Excel
- Proficiency with SketchUp is preferred
- 3D design knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication skills with diverse functional teams and multicultural partners
