Guerlain seeks Transport & Customs Coordinator in Chartres, France. Manage international logistics, customs compliance, and carrier operations on a permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Establish performance reporting and analyse transport data to identify variances, trends, and improvement opportunities
  • Monitor and reconcile carrier invoicing to ensure accuracy and cost control
  • Ensure full customs compliance including management of OEA (Authorised Economic Operator) authorisation
  • Maintain regulatory vigilance on evolving customs legislation and international trade regulations
  • Manage hazardous goods documentation and procedures relevant to fragrance and cosmetics production
  • Monitor transport operations and identify opportunities for cost and efficiency optimisation
  • Audit and evaluate carrier performance and transport processes to identify weaknesses and enhancement opportunities
  • Identify process bottlenecks and propose solutions to maintain upstream and downstream flow integrity

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in International Business, Logistics Management, or Transport
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in transport and customs operations
  • Demonstrated experience in road, maritime, and air freight management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (mandatory requirement)
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP systems (preferred)
  • Strong command of English language
  • Ability to work effectively in an international context
