Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor end‑to‑end inbound and outbound transport performance and ensure adherence to lead times, cost targets and contractual SLAs.
- Produce, maintain and analyse transport performance reports to identify variances, trends and continuous‑improvement opportunities.
- Follow up carrier invoicing and validate freight charges in coordination with accounting and procurement teams.
- Ensure customs compliance for all flows, notably within the framework of the company’s AEO/OEA authorisation.
- Maintain regulatory watch on customs and international trade law changes and cascade implications to operations.
- Manage requests related to dangerous goods and ensure compliant handling and documentation.
- Control and audit carrier activities, evaluate service provider performance and implement corrective actions.
- Assess and audit existing transport processes to identify weaknesses and propose optimisation plans.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in International Trade, Logistics, Transport Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ demonstrable experience in transport and customs operations.
- Practical experience across road, maritime and air transport modalities.
- Working proficiency in English for international coordination.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to prioritise and produce concise reporting.
- Rigorous, autonomous and team‑oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work in an international context and liaise with freight forwarders and cross‑functional teams.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in transport and customs functions, including operational exposure to road, sea and air freight and interaction with international freight forwarders.
Education
Degree in International Trade, Logistics, Transport Management or equivalent diploma.
