Guerlain is seeking a Sustainability Project Assistant intern to support its sustainable development team across circular economy, sustainable innovation, transparency, climate and responsible supply chains. The internship is based in Paris, starts in January 2027 and lasts six months; it is a convention-required, full-time, on-site placement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted research and deliver organized strategic information, including benchmarks, comparative analyses, market studies, strategic monitoring and ad hoc research.
- Complete Climate Fresk facilitator training to support Guerlain teams in organizing internal Climate Fresk workshops.
- Contribute to monitoring and developing ongoing projects, including UEBT, Circular Economy and BEE SCHOOL.
- Coordinate and facilitate operational CSR initiatives, including updating product information on the Bee Respect transparency platform, preparing data for eco-tax declarations, providing logistical support for Women for Bees, submitting award applications and preparing interview materials.
- Prepare project facilitation deliverables, including meeting and conference minutes, working notes and presentations.
- Develop sustainable communications content, including LinkedIn posts and internal posts marking key milestones in the Maison’s sustainable development policy.
- Provide occasional support with team and company activities, including team meetings, preparation of sustainable development scripts, and supplier creation and payment.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at Bac +4/+5 level in a business or engineering school, or an equivalent university programme, with a specialization in environmental studies, agronomy or sustainable development/CSR.
- Ideally, have initial internship experience in a consulting firm or project management in the sustainable development sector.
- Strong interest in innovation and the circular economy, raw-material supply chains and sustainable sourcing, and regenerative agriculture; curiosity about beekeeping and the cause of bees.
- Organized and able to manage priorities and multiple tasks rigorously, proactively and with commitment.
- Enthusiastic and curious, with teamwork skills, consideration for others, humility, strong interpersonal skills and adaptability.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
