Stock Manager position at Guerlain Paris. Manage boutique inventory, new launches, and stock procedures across luxury retail locations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and manage stock replenishment across assigned boutiques using automated replenishment systems and custom ordering
- Monitor new product launches to ensure timely shelf placement and correct quantities in line with commercial calendars
- Coordinate inter-boutique stock transfers and organize storage reserves to optimize selling floor space
- Track inventory levels against KPIs including Days of Inventory (DOI), stock value, presence rate, and inventory variance
- Execute annual and rolling inventory counts to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Enforce Guerlain stock procedures and those of partner retailers and department stores across all assigned locations
- Communicate critical product and stock information to boutique teams, including managers and sales advisors
- Identify process improvements and champion best practices across the stock management team
- Support the professional development of boutique staff through guidance on stock procedures and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Previous experience in a similar stock management or inventory role in retail or luxury retail
- Understanding of luxury retail service standards and brand representation
- Strong organizational and methodical approach to work
