Guerlain seeks Senior Product Manager for Netherlands marketing team in Capelle aan den IJssel. Lead innovation, launches, and category strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the innovation plan with key accounts and spa partners, ensuring timely product launches aligned with sales cycles
- Develop and implement launch strategies (FAST) in collaboration with trade and merchandising teams, including distribution recommendations and SKU allocation by retailer
- Create and maintain order documentation, article creation forms, and novelty presentations for key retailers and independent distributors
- Manage and optimize product assortment by retailer and point-of-sale cluster to maximize productivity and market impact
- Monitor and report monthly sell-out performance by product line and retailer; prepare projections and forecasts for Europe business intelligence teams
- Oversee tester and sample budget management, forecasting, and monitoring through the Marketing Dashboard; manage PR/PO and monthly phasing controls
- Define yearly inventory turnover (ITO) projections and build BNP (Basic, New, Promo) forecasts by product line
- Support training manager with registration, invitations, and on-site session preparation; assist Sales and Events Manager with market requests and event coordination
- Communicate marketing strategy updates from headquarters and Europe team; maintain proactive liaison with Europe Marketing for FMR submissions and strategic requests
- Prepare budget presentations, monthly team meeting updates, and 360° activation plans for strategic product launches
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or brand management within the luxury beauty, fragrance, or related sectors
- Demonstrated expertise in product launch strategy, category management, and assortment optimization
- Proven experience with financial forecasting, budget management, and sell-out analysis
- Strong proficiency with business intelligence tools, data analysis platforms, and marketing dashboard systems
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product management, brand marketing, or related functions within luxury beauty, fragrances, or comparable premium consumer sectors. Direct experience with product innovation cycles, retail distribution strategy, and sales performance analysis required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or related discipline; MBA or advanced business qualification preferred.
