Guerlain recruits Senior Industrial Management Accountant in Chartres, France—expert costing, SAP CO-PC, inventory oversight.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic product cost calculation processes across all Guerlain formulations, analyzing standard cost evolution by axes and franchises to ensure valuation accuracy and relevance
- Serve as the strategic costing expert for transfer pricing calculations and in-depth industrial margin analysis, identifying actionable performance levers
- Function as the definitive reference for all inventory-related issues, including valuation, justification, and reconciliation across the supply chain
- Act as the privileged technical interlocutor with external auditors and tax authorities, defending inventory variances and industrial performance metrics while ensuring full compliance and transparency
- Oversee annual budgeting processes and monthly closings for international logistics and B2B segments, actively challenging operational assumptions and identifying risks and opportunities
- Champion the digital transformation of industrial controlling by developing and implementing innovative solutions, leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize OPEX, costing calculations, production variances, and inventory processes
Qualifications
- Degree from a business school or equivalent qualification with specialization in Finance and Accounting
- Diploma in Accounting and Financial Management (DCG) or equivalent strongly recommended
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in industrial management accounting
- Advanced mastery of industrial costing methodologies with significant hands-on experience in cost price calculation and analysis
- Very advanced proficiency with SAP modules MM, FI, and CO, with deep expertise in SAP CO-PC (Costing module) mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to lead, challenge, and mobilize operational teams and stakeholders; proven track record managing external relationships with auditors

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in industrial management accounting or cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated expertise in SAP CO-PC and a track record of process optimization and stakeholder management.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting from an accredited institution. Diploma in Accounting and Financial Management (DCG) or equivalent professional certification strongly recommended.
