Guerlain in Chartres seeks Senior Industrial Control Manager – Expert Costing & Inventory Cycle (SAP CO-PC) on permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end strategic industrial cost calculation processes for all Guerlain products, ensuring accuracy and relevance of cost valuations across all business lines and franchises
  • Analyze standard cost evolution by strategic axis and ensure continuous optimization of cost accounting methodologies
  • Manage transfer pricing calculation and conduct in-depth industrial margin analysis to identify performance drivers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and expert advisor to external auditors, tax authorities, and senior management regarding inventory valuation, industrial variances, and cost-related compliance matters
  • Oversee accounting and analytical management of inventory across the organization, acting as the central reference for all inventory-related issues
  • Direct annual budgeting processes and monthly closings for international logistics and B2B business segments, actively challenging operational assumptions and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Champion digitalization and process optimization initiatives within industrial controlling, leveraging artificial intelligence and advanced business intelligence tools to enhance operational performance analysis and OPEX optimization
  • Provide strategic analytical support to the Finance Director and operational stakeholders, translating complex financial data into actionable strategic insights

Qualifications

  • Advanced mastery of SAP CO-PC (Costing module) with comprehensive knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and FI (Financial) modules
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in industrial cost accounting and financial analytics, with proven expertise in detailed cost calculation and analysis
  • Degree from a leading business school or equivalent, with specialization in Finance/Accounting; DCG (Diplôme de Comptabilité et Gestion) or equivalent highly recommended
  • Exceptional analytical and modeling capabilities with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial data into strategic, actionable business intelligence
  • Recognized leadership skills with demonstrated ability to animate, challenge, and mobilize operational teams and key stakeholders, including external auditor relationships
  • Strong appetite for digitalization, business intelligence tools, and continuous systems improvement
