Guerlain seeks a Sales Manager, Germany in Düsseldorf to lead wholesale and premium retail sales and manage a performance‑driven team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deliver sell‑out and sell‑in targets across Germany, driving market share growth for Guerlain within assigned channels.
- Own customer development for private specialised retail and wholesale partners, including annual negotiations and contract implementation.
- Lead, coach and motivate a high‑performing sales team; cascade centrally negotiated KPIs and translate strategy into actionable field plans.
- Develop and implement channel‑specific sales strategies and action plans; establish controls and continuous improvement measures to raise team performance.
- Perform YTD and YTG analyses against KPIs to identify opportunities and risks and propose corrective measures.
- Support Area Managers in key account relationships and ensure excellent day‑to‑day collaboration with retail partners.
- Feed market insights and frontline learnings into KAM, Retail and Marketing to create synergistic initiatives that improve commercial results.
Qualifications
- University degree or relevant vocational qualification with appropriate professional experience.
- Minimum five years’ proven experience in sales within beauty, luxury or premium sectors, including wholesale and/or private retail.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience inspiring and managing teams to exceed targets.
- Excellent negotiation skills and strong commercial and financial understanding.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Highly organised, analytical and result‑oriented with outstanding relationship‑management and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and valid driving licence (Class B).

Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the beauty, luxury or premium segments with responsibility for wholesale/private retail accounts and prior people‑management experience.
Education
University degree or relevant vocational training; equivalent professional experience accepted.
