Guerlain seeks a Sales Manager in Düsseldorf, Germany to lead national retail & wholesale sales, drive sell‑in/sell‑out and manage a sales team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own national sell‑in and sell‑out performance for Germany; drive market share growth across assigned channels.
- Develop and execute channel strategies with actionable plans for the field team (private specialist retail and wholesale).
- Lead, inspire and manage a motivated sales team; cascade KPIs and ensure consistent execution at point of sale.
- Conduct annual commercial negotiations with distribution partners and ensure contractual commitments are implemented.
- Establish performance controls and continuous improvement measures; deliver YTD and YTG analyses versus KPIs to identify opportunities and risks.
- Support Area Managers in key customer relationships and enable best‑in‑class retailer partnership management.
- Proactively share market intelligence and field insights with KAM, Retail and Marketing to create cross‑functional synergies.
Qualifications
- University degree or relevant vocational qualification with substantial commercial experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales within beauty, luxury or premium sectors, with proven people‑management responsibility.
- Fluent German and professional working proficiency in English.
- Strong negotiation track record and demonstrable commercial/financial acumen.
- Valid driving licence (category B) and willingness to travel across Germany.

Experience
Minimum five years of progressive sales experience in the beauty, luxury or premium segments, including responsibility for national accounts, channel strategy and team leadership.
Education
University degree or relevant vocational/professional qualification.
