Guerlain Sales Manager position in Düsseldorf, Germany – lead retail channel growth and manage B2B accounts in luxury beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure achievement of established sales targets (sell-out and sell-in) with retail partners across Germany and drive market share growth
- Lead annual negotiations with distribution partners and implement agreed-upon KPIs with the field team
- Develop and strengthen sales strategy by channel and translate into specific action plans for team execution
- Establish performance monitoring systems and continuous improvement measures to enhance team productivity
- Conduct YTD and YTG analyses against KPIs to identify opportunities and manage risk contingencies
- Foster excellent collaboration with distribution partners and support Area Managers in their customer relationships
- Provide market-driven insights to KAM, retail, and marketing functions to create synergies and drive results
Qualifications
- Tertiary education or equivalent professional qualification with relevant work experience
- Demonstrated leadership strength with ability to inspire teams and drive peak performance
- Strong understanding of the German cosmetics and luxury market dynamics
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and sales management tools
- Fluent German and English with negotiation-level confidence in both languages
- Proven negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen
- Excellent relationship management capabilities across leadership, peer, and customer levels
- Willingness to travel and possession of valid Class B driver's license

Experience
Minimum five years of relevant sales experience in the beauty, luxury, or premium sectors, with demonstrated success in team leadership and channel management within the German market.
Education
Tertiary degree or equivalent professional qualification
