Guerlain Sales Manager (Germany) in Düsseldorf – lead sales team, drive market growth, manage retail partnerships. Full-time, hybrid.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed established sales targets (sell-out and sell-in) with German retail partners and drive Guerlain market share growth
  • Lead and manage a highly motivated external sales team, providing coaching and performance management
  • Conduct annual partnership negotiations with distributors and implement agreed KPIs cascaded throughout the field sales organization
  • Develop and execute channel-specific sales strategies tailored to independent retailers and wholesale segments
  • Establish performance controls and continuous improvement measures to optimize team productivity
  • Analyze year-to-date and year-to-goal performance against KPIs to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risk exposure
  • Ensure seamless partner collaboration by supporting Area Managers in customer relationship development
  • Proactively share market insights with key account management, retail, and marketing teams to enhance cross-functional synergy

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in beauty, luxury, or premium sectors
  • Proven team leadership with demonstrated ability to inspire and drive high performance
  • Strong understanding of the German cosmetics and luxury market landscape
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Exceptional relationship management capability with peers, partners, and customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Class B driving license

Experience
