Guerlain Singapore is hiring a Retail Operations and Performance Intern in Singapore to support APAC retail analytics, BI reporting and operational projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compile, validate and analyse weekly, monthly and quarterly retail performance reports for Direct Stores across APAC and Travel Retail.
- Monitor and report on key KPIs (sell‑thru, category trends, FTE productivity) using BI dashboards; identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Support rollout and adherence to Retail Excellence Playbooks and standardised operating procedures across regional markets.
- Assist coordination and execution of retail innovations and projects to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Manage customer survey data, extract insights and support development of action plans to improve in‑store performance.
- Maintain and track retail expenses; support cost management initiatives and vendor liaison to identify competitive pricing and savings.
- Develop internal communications, slide decks, newsletters and visual content (PowerPoint, Canva) for regional retail teams and strategic meetings.
- Provide cross‑functional administrative and logistical support to ensure alignment and timely execution of retail initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current university undergraduate in Business, Finance, Retail Management, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with attention to detail; comfort working with retail financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and Microsoft PowerPoint; familiarity with Canva and BI dashboards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to engage internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Highly independent, resourceful and organised; able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive, quick learner with a strong interest in retail performance, operations and luxury beauty.
