Guerlain seeks an Retail Development and Performance Analyst Intern in Paris to support international retail strategy and expansion within the International Retail department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze retail point-of-sale performance to identify improvement opportunities and propose actionable plans
- Support the development and implementation of programs designed to increase in-store productivity and profitability
- Prepare presentations and materials for senior management engagement
- Communicate strategic retail direction during webinars and internal stakeholder meetings
- Organize and coordinate visits for international partners at the Paris headquarters
- Identify and evaluate expansion opportunities by analyzing geographic zones, market segments, and potential distribution channels
- Prepare documentation and materials to support new store establishment initiatives
- Write monthly articles to engage and animate the international retail community
- Conduct competitive intelligence research on innovative practices employed by international and local competitors, accounting for cultural specifications
- Synthesize market intelligence to support decision-making by senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+4/5) in commerce, marketing, business management, or equivalent discipline
- Demonstrated strong analytical and observation capabilities
- Recognized for dynamism, active listening skills, and emotional intelligence
- Results-oriented and solution-focused mindset with a strong customer service orientation
- Excellent organizational rigor and structured planning abilities
- Fluent English proficiency (spoken and written)
