Guerlain seeks a Retail & Trade Marketing Manager in Brussels to drive retail performance and clienteling across the Belux network.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the annual trade marketing plan for all Belux retailers, aligning retailer-level plans with brand strategy, budgets and HQ guidelines.
  • Act as the primary Guerlain contact for key retailers (ICI PARIS XL, April, Paris 8, INNO), coordinating POS visibility, retail activations and merchandising briefs.
  • Design and deploy sell-out tools and seasonal trade assets (POSM, GWP, samples), manage allocation quotas by point of sale and control logistics with the Trade Assistant.
  • Develop and run clienteling activations in wholesale and D-to-C (masterclasses, exclusive in-store experiences, one-to-one services) to recruit, activate and upsell VICs.
  • Collaborate with Digital & CRM to ensure omni‑channel coherence of activations and maximise CRM effectiveness across offline and online touchpoints.
  • Define, monitor and report on KPIs related to sell-out, activation performance and ROI; analyse results and recommend continuous optimisation.
  • Plan, manage and control the retail & trade marketing budget (budget preparation, PO creation, supplier follow-up, monthly spend controls and quota management).
  • Drive premiumisation of retail presentation and customer experiences to elevate brand desirability and retail performance across channels.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in retail, trade or retail marketing within beauty, luxury goods or premium consumer brands.
  • Proven experience managing retailer relationships and retail activations across multi-channel networks.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities with experience defining and tracking sell-out KPIs and ROI.
  • Native or fluent French with professional proficiency in English and Dutch.

Experience
