Guerlain: Retail & Commercial Intern (6 months) in Brussels, Belgium supporting sales and retail operations for luxury perfumes and cosmetics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Commercial Team with daily operational tasks and administrative coordination
- Analyse retail performance through quantitative and qualitative reporting, KPI monitoring, and data visualization
- Collaborate with external agencies managing in-store presences, including request management, scheduling updates, and training organization
- Monitor agency budgets, invoicing, and commercial team expenses under the supervision of the Retail & Commercial Project Manager
- Maintain and update operational reports and presentations for the Sales Team and commercial meetings
- Coordinate commercial events and meetings
- Prepare weekly departmental newsletters
- Track sales performance and promotional activities across key accounts (Galeries Lafayette Luxembourg, Inno counters, etc.)
- Update sell-out results and business intelligence dashboards in Power BI
- Assist in assortment management including product newness tracking, delisting, and rationalization initiatives
- Support distribution strategy execution and product catalogue differentiation
Qualifications
- Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with clear prioritization skills
- Autonomous work capability with quick learning ability and multitasking competence
- Demonstrated team spirit and collaborative attitude
- Enthusiastic, proactive mindset with hands-on initiative
Skills
Experience
Beginner level or recent graduate with no specific industry experience required; exposure to retail, sales operations, or luxury goods environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a business, marketing, retail management, or related undergraduate/master's programme.
