Guerlain seeks Procurement Controller in Paris. Lead purchasing performance analysis, value engineering, and process digitalization in this strategic finance role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end strategic procurement performance analysis and reporting, including monthly performance dashboards tracking spending by category, currency, supplier, and foreign exchange impacts
  • Take ownership of the entire value engineering (ADV) process, supervising implementation and measuring financial and operational outcomes including production line efficiency, scrap rates, and purchase price impacts
  • Develop, animate, and supervise annual budgeting and revised forecast processes for the procurement scope, defining contributors, timelines, and coordinating construction with operational stakeholders
  • Ensure budgetary control and operational oversight of procurement spending, validating orders and expenses while challenging and training operational teams on commitment procedures
  • Calculate and analyze cost structures for purchased articles, challenging established standards and rigorously tracking procurement performance at reference level
  • Drive digitalization of procurement control processes and lead optimization of reporting and performance analysis systems
  • Collaborate with procurement, development, operations, industrial logistics, and innovation teams to align financial and operational objectives

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent (Bac+5) with specialization in corporate finance
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in management accounting, ideally within an industrial environment or with industrial controlling knowledge
  • Advanced mastery of procurement performance analysis and value engineering methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP system, with deep knowledge of procurement modules (MM) and controlling modules (CO)
  • Advanced Excel capability combined with strong sensitivity to information systems and appetite for digitalization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, challenge, mobilize operational teams and stakeholders with rigorous, proactive, autonomous execution
  • Fluent English (essential)
  • Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with ability to transform complex data into actionable strategic levers
