Guerlain Paris: Procurement Buyer for Fragrance Projects and Operations, manage supplier sourcing, contracts, and continuous improvement for luxury beauty launches.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and manage supplier panels for fragrance projects, including launch of competitive tender processes and comprehensive RFQ analysis
  • Negotiate all contractual terms including quality specifications, delivery schedules, and pricing; dimension production capacities at supplier level
  • Award market contracts and manage contract execution throughout the project lifecycle in close collaboration with development, marketing, logistics, quality, finance, and production teams
  • Drive continuous improvement processes on recurring product procurement, focusing on lead-time reduction, cost management, and value creation aligned with brand aesthetic standards
  • Partner with Finance and Business Controlling to monitor budget performance and procurement KPIs across the fragrance category
  • Lead dispute resolution for quality, logistics, and administrative issues with suppliers
  • Act as strategic project team member to ensure successful execution of new product sourcing initiatives within growth-driven context

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree +5 years (minimum) in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, product development, or production roles
  • Proven procurement experience in the cosmetics, beauty, or food & beverage industry preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP
  • Fluent English
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder projects
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with proven track record of cost reduction and process optimization
