Guerlain is hiring a Private Client, Partnerships and Events Assistant to support private-client relations, B2B sales, partnerships, reporting and events for the French market. This full-time, on-site internship is a six-month, convention-backed placement starting in January 2027, based in Paris’s 1st arrondissement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with contacts, mainly luxury houses and hotels, for B2B product sales.
  • Prepare reports, manage and follow up on requests.
  • Track invoicing and revenue by key account.
  • Prospect for new partners by presenting Guerlain and its product and experience catalogue.
  • Build a database of the partner network.
  • Prepare internal presentation materials highlighting initiatives and results.
  • Participate in partner meetings to recruit new key partners and develop relationships.
  • Analyse partnership results quarterly.
  • Participate in and coordinate client and brand-image events across the French market, in collaboration with the trade marketing team.
  • Propose and deliver bespoke experiences.
  • Work with CRM to prepare reports measuring results and KPIs.
  • Identify emerging venues for events.
  • Analyse competitors’ in-store and out-of-store events.
  • Gather information from other beauty houses and conduct research to understand Guerlain’s competitive environment.

Qualifications

  • Currently studying for a Master’s degree at a business school or university, specialising in Marketing or Communications.
  • An initial client relations experience is preferred; experience in the luxury sector is an advantage.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Rigorous, organised, responsive and motivated, with strong interpersonal skills and availability.
  • Passionate about beauty or keen to discover the sector; dynamic, autonomous, mature and proactive.
