Guerlain seeks experienced PR and Influence Manager for skincare strategy in Paris. Lead European press initiatives for luxury beauty and sustainability.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deploy press and influence strategy for skincare, sustainability, and spa initiatives aligned with market requirements and global brand strategy
- Identify and propose relevant press opportunities and angles that authentically express the brand's DNA and positioning
- Coordinate international press events with regional PR teams according to global guidelines, including product presentations, boutique openings, and institutional events
- Author and produce prestige press materials for skincare, spas, and sustainable development initiatives that amplify the brand's evolved tone of voice
- Anticipate, challenge, and validate regional skincare media requests to ensure brand image consistency across content, collaborations, and editorial features
- Disseminate global press and influence guidelines to market PRs while proposing localized adaptations based on regional specificity
- Pilot local events and coordinate with regional PR teams and event management to ensure alignment with Guerlain event guidelines
- Oversee external PR agencies and cultivate a robust network of local PR partners
- Support central internal experts from Heritage and Sustainability divisions in their media engagements and market visits
- Conduct continuous monitoring of editorial coverage, influencers, key opinion leaders, wellness (spa) influencers, and sustainability-focused partnerships
- Establish qualitative and quantitative performance objectives and KPIs in conjunction with markets based on central strategic priorities and local business needs
- Support markets in consolidating performance KPIs within global reporting systems
- Analyze results, monitor impact of initiatives, share best practices, and implement action plans to refine subsequent activations
- Manage and mentor an intern
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BAC+5 equivalent) in communications, journalism, commerce, or related discipline from a recognized institution
- Minimum 7–8 years of progressive PR coordination experience in agency or in-house settings, preferably within luxury beauty or luxury sectors
- Demonstrated strategic mindset with conceptual intelligence and capacity to craft and articulate sophisticated brand storytelling
- Deep engagement with skincare category; current knowledge of emerging trends to identify relevant communication opportunities
- Strong listening skills, proven capacity for strategic counsel, and ability to rapidly identify solutions
- Pragmatic approach to project delivery with discipline in meeting deadlines and managing budgets
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English with ability to write and communicate with precision and subtlety in both languages

Minimum 7–8 years of PR coordination experience in agency or corporate settings, ideally within luxury beauty or the broader luxury sector. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic press campaigns, manage media relationships at scale, and coordinate complex international events.
Education
Bachelor's degree (BAC+5 equivalent) in communications, journalism, commerce, or closely related discipline.
