Guerlain is seeking a Merchandising Assistant intern to support the France Marketing team and Boutique Merchandising managers with launches, displays, installations, supplier orders and stock. This convention-required, on-site internship is full-time for six months, starting January 2027, in Paris’s 1st arrondissement.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the Boutique Merchandising managers in their day-to-day work.
• Assist with department store activations, including podiums and outposts, and product-launch window displays and décor across 23 boutiques.
• Coordinate and prepare activations and launches in advance.
• Create PowerPoint documents, including books, guidelines and briefs.
• Participate in on-site installations.
• Organize and track post-installation adjustments, including photo visits and after-sales service.
• Serve as the main contact for day-to-day merchandising matters and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including boutiques, the artistic direction team and suppliers.
• Track and process boutiques’ merchandising after-sales requests, including orders and the preparation and shipment of décor.
• Manage supplier orders for soft merchandising, including small posters, visuals, furniture and other promotional display elements.
• Develop one-off activations and specific point-of-sale displays.
• Maintain merchandising stock in good order.

Qualifications

• Currently studying at a business school at Master’s level (Bac+5) or in an equivalent program.
• Knowledge of retail and a strong interest in interior decoration and the luxury goods sector.
• Organized, versatile, rigorous and open-minded.
• Proactive, with an ability to find solutions and deliver projects despite difficulties or unforeseen circumstances.
• Enjoys interpersonal interaction and teamwork.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with head-office, boutique, field, logistics and service-provider contacts.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
