Guerlain seeks a Manager of Education & Training Projects in New York to oversee training excellence and retail performance across the Northeast region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all education seminars, including seasonal training sessions, expertise trainings, and selling ceremony programs
  • Lead and manage the Digital Training platform, ensuring effective implementation and utilization across the organization
  • Manage, implement, and lead the education and event strategy in collaboration with the Head of Client Experience
  • Analyze existing education programs to ensure alignment with market needs and make necessary adjustments
  • Propose and develop education solutions aimed at improving key performance indicators and business outcomes
  • Adapt global education content to meet specific needs of the US market and regional nuances
  • Develop, adapt, and produce all education tools and training materials
  • Manage the education budget in accordance with guidelines provided by the Head of Client Experience
  • Gather, analyze, and report all necessary KPIs to share with New York Office and Headquarters
  • Drive training and retail excellence through collaboration with the Head of Client Experience, implementing elevated and industry-leading training solutions
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute seasonal training seminars for Beauty Ambassadors, Counter Managers, Business Managers, and US Field Sales Team
  • Dedicate 60% of time to fieldwork within NYC and North East, working alongside Beauty Ambassadors and retail partners
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the Maison and with all levels of store management teams and Beauty Ambassadors
  • Focus on key doors within priority accounts, partnering with Beauty Ambassadors and Account Executives to elevate employee performance
  • Identify learning or behavior gaps and develop tailored training tools and solutions for each store or counter
  • Provide continuous feedback to the Field Executive team through written recaps highlighting progress, development, and opportunities
  • Cultivate partnerships with retailers to support new store openings in NYC and the North East
  • Collaborate with the field team to deliver exceptional events using skilled storytelling, facilitation, and engaging presentations
  • Ensure events consistently meet brand standards and positively represent the Maison
  • Conduct event recaps to identify learnings and optimizations for future planning
  • Partner with NYO teams including marketing, sales, ecommerce, and visual merchandising to ensure cohesion with retail excellence standards

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of related field experience in training and events
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships with various departments to elevate training, maximize sales, and collaborate with all levels of store management
  • Exceptional people skills to drive training and eventing across the organization
  • Strong strategic, creative, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented environment
