Guerlain seeks a Maintenance Technician in Orphin, France. Full-time, permanent role maintaining production equipment on a luxury perfume manufacturing site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment availability and optimal performance against established operational targets
- Monitor and analyse equipment indicators; prioritise, recommend, and implement sustainable improvements in safety, quality, and productivity
- Diagnose and perform corrective maintenance on production equipment, including installations, adjustments, upgrades, and component replacements
- Conduct root-cause analysis of equipment failures through systematic investigation and data-driven fact-gathering
- Organise and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all assigned production equipment
- Update preventive maintenance protocols in coordination with the methods department; maintain all technical documentation for assigned equipment
- Prepare detailed technical maintenance reports and machine maintenance records
- Audit machine parameters within assigned scope (excluding active production adjustments)
- Support commissioning and launch of new equipment
- Train production line operators and machine operators in autonomous maintenance practices and diagnostic problem-solving techniques
Qualifications
- BTS MAI (Maintenance and Integrated Engineering), Electrotechnique, or MI qualification
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on production site maintenance experience
- Proven expertise in mechanics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Autonomous and meticulous work approach
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years' hands-on maintenance experience on a production site, ideally within the cosmetics, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical sector. Proven track record of maintaining diverse production processes and serving as primary liaison with external suppliers and vendors.
Education
BTS MAI (Maintenance and Integrated Engineering), BTS Electrotechnique, or equivalent BTS MI qualification required.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Orphin, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
