Guerlain in Orphin (Ile‑de‑France) seeks a Laboratory Technician — Packaging & Finished Products (AC). Permanent, full‑time QC role on the production site.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming controls of packaging items (articles de conditionnement) on receipt according to laboratory procedures, safety and hygiene rules to determine conformity and enable product release.
  • Record and maintain control results in the laboratory's computerized system.
  • Manage non‑conformities in direct liaison with packaging suppliers and internal packaging stakeholders; issue and circulate quality notices.
  • Participate in root‑cause analysis and follow up on defined corrective actions until closure.
  • Support and act as backup for updating quality definition elements (control plans/gammes de contrôle, BAT, BAG, kits/panoplies and reference samples/témoins) and create new control methods as required.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (Bac+2) or equivalent in Production, Quality, Packaging or related discipline.
  • Minimum three years' experience in Quality Control, ideally within cosmetics packaging or finished‑product control.
  • Solid knowledge of cosmetics industry quality frameworks (Bonnes Pratiques de Fabrication / GMP and ISO standards).
  • Strong analytical mindset, rigorous work methods, autonomy and collaborative team orientation.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SAP; familiarity with laboratory computerized systems.
  • Working knowledge of technical English.
