Overview

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for Guerlain points of sale worldwide, managing requests from design through to delivery for store construction and fit-out projects.
• Contribute to project briefs, assess technical and economic feasibility, and produce detailed specifications for requests for proposal (RFPs).
• Prepare and issue RFPs to pre‑selected suppliers, evaluate responses, negotiate commercial and technical terms, and ensure alignment with LVMH purchasing procedures.
• Contract projects with partners and enforce strict budget, quality and timeline governance; manage disputes, change orders and cost-sharing when necessary.
• Proactively identify and escalate risks to project teams and implement corrective actions to preserve project delivery and standards.
• Represent procurement in executive validation meetings (COMEX) and present business cases and final evaluations of cost savings and project outcomes.
• Conduct regional RFPs to optimize non-centralized spend, maintain supplier catalogues/guidelines for markets, and update market references.
• Perform trend and material scouting alongside design teams; drive sustainable exploitation of concepts to optimize economic performance and minimize carbon impact.
• Establish and monitor strategic supplier partnerships, lead supplier business reviews and audits to ensure compliance with Guerlain quality, ethical and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering or business with a specialization in procurement, or equivalent university degree.
• Minimum five years of procurement experience with demonstrable exposure to store purchases, store planning or retail project procurement; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken; ability to draft clear commercial and technical documentation in both languages.
• Strong negotiation and contract‑management acumen, with the ability to defend projects in executive forums.
• Willingness to travel to supplier sites as required; adaptable, detail‑oriented and comfortable working in cross‑functional international teams.

Experience

Minimum five years of progressive procurement experience, ideally including roles focused on boutique/store purchasing or store planning within retail or luxury sectors. Demonstrated track record in managing RFP processes, supplier negotiations, contract execution and project budget/timeline control.

Education

Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering or business with a procurement specialization, or equivalent university qualification.
