Guerlain seeks an Intern Retail & Trade Marketing in Zurich for 6-12 months, supporting luxury marketing strategies across Switzerland and Austria.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the execution of Trade Marketing plans to drive key product launches
- Coordinate in-store activations including podiums, windows, takeovers, promotions, and animations
- Develop merchandising tools and point-of-sale materials, including agency briefing and production follow-up
- Monitor sell-out performance, ROI, and competitive activities
- Implement the annual activation plan across Guerlain's counters and Salons de Parfum
- Create monthly activations and elevated client experiences around key launches and commercial moments
- Manage activation budgets and track performance
- Support the marketing development of Guerlain's two Spas in Switzerland
- Contribute to local activations, events, and client experience initiatives for spa properties
- Support business development initiatives and monitor performance
- Contribute to the creation of VIC events, strategic partnerships, and immersive brand experiences
- Develop event concepts and supporting creative assets
- Build relationships with local luxury partners to drive collaborations and client recruitment opportunities
- Coordinate event execution, budget follow-up, and post-event performance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, Business, Communication, Luxury Management, or a related field
- Previous internship or professional experience in marketing, retail, events, luxury, or hospitality
- International perspective with passion for luxury, exclusivity, exceptional craftsmanship, and memorable experiences
- Team-player mentality with proactive, organized, and autonomous approach
- Willingness to take ownership of projects and initiatives
- Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional or internship experience in marketing, retail, events, luxury, or hospitality sectors.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, Business, Communication, Luxury Management, or a related field.
