Guerlain Tokyo seeks a Fragrance Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for Beauty Ambassadors and fragrance specialists, driving sales and brand excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective training programs for Beauty Ambassadors and fragrance specialists aligned with Guerlain Academy guidelines and marketing campaigns
- Establish annual training calendars synchronized with marketing calendars and headquarters guidelines, coordinating availability across central and regional teams
- Deliver interactive training sessions utilizing multiple methodologies including in-person workshops, online webinars, and on-the-job coaching
- Design and develop comprehensive training materials such as presentations, manuals, online modules, and interactive exercises covering fragrance families, application techniques, and sales strategies
- Conduct Master Classes for expert-level Beauty Ambassadors
- Perform strategic counter visits to provide hands-on training, assess skill gaps, and support counter managers on overall counter management
- Facilitate Guerlain Academy modules and updated brand workshops for retail partners
- Support the execution of events and animations by providing coaching, developing resources, and delivering on-site support
- Assist with assessments for the Expert program and other educational initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, and Sales teams to align training with brand strategy and product launches
- Oversee all fragrance training program budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Develop and deliver onboarding programs for new hires with foundational knowledge and skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in training and development, preferably within the fragrance or cosmetics industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proven customer service expertise
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of the cosmetics and fragrance industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
Experience
3 years or more of experience in training and development, preferably within the fragrance, cosmetics, or luxury beauty sector
Education
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field
Workplace
