Guerlain Finance Assistant Internship, Paris – 6-month EMEA financial control role for business school students.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in revenue and P&L reviews (J+1 and J+4 respectively) and develop reporting packages for operational stakeholders
- Elaborate and analyze various financial reports for European operations and Export zones
- Monitor POSM (Point of Sale Material) expenditure across Export Europe and Africa regions
- Verify data consistency across multiple systems: SAP, Essbase, Cognos, and Magnitude
- Consolidate financial data for Export and European subsidiary perimeters
- Support revised/budget consolidation and analysis activities
- Contribute to Top Management presentation development
- Generate monthly Outlook forecasts (three-month revenue projections) and distribute to operational teams
- Conduct weekly portfolio analysis for the European zone
- Track CAPEX investments and monitor sell-out performance
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a top-tier business school (bac+5) or equivalent university finance program
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas and data visualization
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint presentation design
- Solid understanding of core financial concepts: P&L statements, consolidation methodology, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of SAP and Essbase systems is desirable
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Skills
Experience
Entry-level or internship experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis preferred. This position is designed for candidates with foundational knowledge rather than extensive professional experience.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's-level degree (bac+5 equivalent) in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
