Guerlain is seeking a Distribution Merchandising Intern to support the France Marketing team with launches, Trade Marketing activations, merchandising operations and coordination between headquarters, suppliers and field teams. This convention-approved internship is on site in Paris, starts in January 2027 and lasts six months.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of Trade Marketing activations and track their installation at points of sale, including briefing suppliers, managing creative revisions, obtaining internal and external approval of point-of-sale advertising, processing quotations, and monitoring production and installation.
- Write the internal merchandising newsletter, including competitor monitoring and tracking Guerlain’s executions.
- Create three-axis planograms using 2D software.
- Manage feedback from field teams and serve as the main contact for day-to-day merchandising matters, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and process merchandising after-sales requests and manage replenishment and reprints.
- Prepare orders for furniture, products, point-of-sale advertising and visual assets, and monitor logistics.
- Manage the merchandising database and track store openings and renovations.
- Support the team with product launches and the follow-up of retailer merchandising activations.
- Manage the operational inventory of makeup furniture and update permanent merchandising elements.
- Act as a key liaison between headquarters, suppliers, field teams and sales teams.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at a business school at Master’s level (Bac+4/Bac+5) or in an equivalent programme.
- Have significant initial experience in project management.
- Be creative, versatile, rigorous and organized.
- Be proactive and able to find solutions to deliver projects despite difficulties or unexpected issues.
- Enjoy interpersonal relationships and teamwork, demonstrate excellent people skills, and adapt to a range of stakeholders, including headquarters, boutiques, field teams, logistics and service providers.
- Have good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of desktop publishing software is an advantage.
